WHISKY OF THE WEEK – 12th August

WHISKY OF THE WEEK - 5th August

Chewing on a Pirate’s Wooden Leg 🥃

This is a bit of a special whisky of the week because it allows us to give an announcement as well. We are back to being an SMWS partner bar. SMWS, or the Scottish Malt Whisky Society, was formed in 1983 with a key message of doing things differently. They wanted whisky in the purest form as whisky unconventional whisky experts prized flavour above everything. That is where this whisky comes from. For a Glenturret 9-year-old, there is a huge amount of brown sugar, creme brulee, and currant buns. There is also a peat ember note to it, a perfectly balanced whisky with a huge kick to it.
