WHISKY OF THE WEEK – 16th September

Glendronach Traditionally Peated  Before I became the Quaich Bar Manager, I used to be a tour guide at Glendronach. It was a great experience which helped me learn a lot about the whisky industry working for such a big corporation. It also helped me learn all about the sherry industry and gave me a real appreciation for the work done in Spain to ensure we have our favourite sherry bombs. This is a Glendronach that is unlike any other. For one, it is not just sherry casks but also a port pipe, but more importantly, it is peated. Think of a peated barley candy with a red fruit jam, perfect for someone just starting on their peated whisky journey.  - Calum Diack, Quaich Bar Manager
