Ardmore 2011 Samaroli

Samaroli are an amazing independent bottler from Italy, and I would suggest if you ever get a chance to try any release from them, please do it as you are always guaranteed something amazing from them, like this Ardmore! Ardmore is a Highland distillery located about 30 minutes away from the Quaich Bar, heading towards Aberdeen. It produces a peated style whisky, which makes it quite different from the distilleries around it. Expect a quite oily whisky with quite a few savoury, meaty notes but then a sweet spice to balance it all out.
