Three Scottish heritage brands, all with roots in Speyside and global impact, come together at The Craigellachie Hotel this World Whisky Day. Aberlour distillery, Walker’s Shortbread, and The Craigellachie: three names that have each shaped the identity of this valley in their own way, and that now share a table for something special.
To celebrate the occasion, we have created an exclusive menu of three shortbread whisky cocktails, made with a bespoke shortbread syrup, now pouring across The Spey Inn and The Quaich Bar, each paired with an all-butter Walker’s Shortbread Finger.
Choose from the Walker’s Old Fashioned, the Shortbread Espresso Martini, and the Speyside Highball, depending on what the moment calls for. They will be available for one month, with the most popular serve remaining on the menu.
Slow down in Speyside
The valley is in full bloom, the River Spey is running bright, and the days carry that unhurried feeling. Step into a room warmed by natural light, some with views over the iconic Craigellachie Bridge, and find that slowing down comes more easily than you expected.
Whether your days call for fly fishing on the Spey, exploring the distilleries that line this part of the Highlands, hiking in the Cairngorms, or simply settling into a chair at The Quaich Bar to savour a dram, a stay at The Craigellachie gives you everything Speyside has to offer.
